I was wondering if the droplets that came out from the nozzle are always positively charged as I watched some yt video and it was negatively charged.
Is it because if the droplets are negative, after all the protons in the metal body have been attracted to the negatively charged droplets, and due to the immobile nature of protons, there will be a limit towards the amount of paint droplets that are attracted
yes, I think most ideally it would be positively charged. Like what you said, if it is negatively charged, the positively charges (don't write proton in Physics, you will get marked wrong) of the body will eventually "run out" and if the painting is not complete then yeah, the droplets would not be attracted to the non painted sides of the body.
